Dandelion Renewables

Are you not sure if a wind turbine, or photovoltaic modules, or a combination of both wind and solar is a better decision for you? Dandelion Renewables can show you the most cost-effective and rewarding opportunities in solar power, wind power, and energy conservation. We are very excited to offer, to design and to install new solutions that not only reduce the environmental footprint but also improve the bottom line of your personal finances or business.

What have we achieved?

– Provided ground-mounted solar installation services in Brooks Alberta for the largest utility-scale 17MW(DC) solar farm in Western Canada.

– Engineered, procured and installed over 1MW of commercial, municipal, First Nations, agricultural, utility, community and residential grid-connected solar PV systems since 2011.

– Our feasibility studies saved thousands of MWh in energy savings to the agricultural industry.

– Contributed to a stronger Alberta Pork industry by introducing energy-efficiency improvements, evaluating different – renewable energy options and designing a net-zero barn.

– Integrated lithium-ion phosphate energy storage in off-grid DC-coupled and AC-coupled applications since 2013.

– Planted first driven piles for ground-mounted solar projects in Western Canada.

– Studied the piles performance since 2012, developed a unique methodology for frost heave quantification, created a database of frost heave effect based on different soil types.

Dandelion Renewables provides a full spectrum of solar EPC services from energy-efficiency audits, solar project cost-benefit analysis, initial design, net-zero solar design, and engineering, structural and electrical approvals, procurement, solar system installation, and construction management, right through to commissioning and handover to the project owners, operations and maintenance (O&M).
